I think it's nice that California is trying to bring voting into an age of technology. However, with the notorious frauds and difficulties during the last Presidential election, I'm sure alot of people are worried how well computers can handle voting. Some have complained that since there are no physical ballots, it will be difficult to get an accurate recount, should there be a need.

New Mexico was selected as the place to hold the trials for the X Prize. The X Prize sponsors are hoping to encourage the development of the first privately funded space vehicle. Eventually, these types of vehicles will take average citizens into space. I think it's really cool and I hope that layperson space travel becomes common in my lifetime!

Laptops have to recharge by plugging into the wall alot, thereby defeating the purpose of a portable computer. By combining these two types of memory, it will use less power and enable laptop users to be more mobile!

DSL is faster and doesn't take up a phone line, so it's becoming very popular in America. However, it is not very reliable. Ours goes down almost religiously once a week. So, many customers have to weigh the options of reliabilty against speed and a free phone line.
